Aethelred II "The Unready" Of England was born in 0966 in Wessex, England.  Aethelred II "The Unready" Of England's father was King Edgar "The Peaceable" Of England and his mother was Elfrida OF DEVONSHIRE.  His paternal grandparents were King Edmund I "The Magnificent" "THe Deed Doer" Of England and Saint Alfgifu; his maternal grandfather was Earl Ordgar OF DEVONSHIRE.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 50 on April 23rd, 1016 in London, Middlesex, England.  He was buried in St. Pauls Cathedral.
