She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Athelstan, Egbert, Edwig, Edmund II "Ironside", Edward, Edgar, Ligulph De Lumley Of, Edith, Wulfhild and Miss Princess Of. She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Alfred Prince Of, Edward III Of, Edred, Ingelric Of, Goda (Godgifu) Princess, Aelfgifu Of and Adgina Of.

‌Elgiva (Alfgifu) and Uchtred "The Bold" Of were married in a religious ceremony about 1010 in England.  They had a son and a daughter, named Aldred Of and Aeldgyth (Edith) Of.
