King David  I (The Saint) was born in 1084.  King David  I (The Saint)'s father was King Malcomb  III (The Ceanmer) of Scotland and his mother was Princess Margaret of England.  His paternal grandparents were King Duncan  I of Scotland and Sybilla Fitz Siward Bamburg; his maternal grandparents were Prince Eadward of England and Agatha of Brunswick.  He was an only child.
