Prince Giovanni  II's father was Count Giovanni  I of Laurino and his mother was Gaitelgrima UNKNOWN.  His paternal grandfather was Lambert of Spoleto; his maternal grandfather was Count Atenolfo  III of Teano.  He was an only child.  He died in 0999.

They had a son named Prince Guaimar  III.
