Lady Gerberge was born in 0564 in Franconia. Lady Gerberge's father was Duke Richomer de Bourgogne and her mother was Lady Gertrudes de Moselle. Her paternal grandfather was Duke Theobald of Ostrevant; her maternal grandparents were Ansbertus Gallo of Franks and Princess Blithilde of Franks. She was an only child. She died at the age of 82 in 0646.-
