Roger was born in 1211 in Kinderton, Cheshire, Eng. Roger's father was Hugh de Venables and his mother was Alice de Oxton. His paternal grandfather was William de Venables; his maternal grandfather was Ranulph de Oxton ***. He was an only child. He died at the age of 50 in 1261.-
