Henry was born about 1350. Henry's father was Sir Henry de Trafford and his mother was Margaret (Margery) Ince. His paternal grandparents were Sir Henry Trafford and Agnes Dolerinde; his maternal grandfather was Robert Ince. He had three sisters named Isabel, Margaret and Joan. He was the second youngest of the four children.-
