Simon was born about 1251. Simon's father was Baron Robert de Throckmorton and his mother was Prudence de Compton. His paternal grandparents were Adam de Throckmorton and Matilda de Derinstone; his maternal grandparents were Robert de Compton and Lucy UNKNOWN. He was an only child. He died in 1315.-
