Aymer de Taillefer 
Aymer was born in 1160 in Angouleme, Charente, France. Aymer's father was William IV Tailliefer and his mother was Emma de Limoges. His paternal grandparents were Walgren Tailliefer and Ponce de Lezigan; his maternal grandparents were Ademar III de Limoges and Graule Tailliefer. He had a sister named Mathilde. He was the younger of the two children.
