Adam was born about 1269 in Swynerton, France. Adam's father was Richard de Pershale and his mother was Margery Knighton. His paternal grandparents were John Pershale and Eleanor de Pershale. He was an only child. He died about 1346 in Horsley, Derby, Eng.
