William de Burgh 
William was born in 1265 in Galway Castle, Connaught, Ireland. William's father was Walter de Burgh and his mother was Avelina Fitz John. His paternal grandparents were Richard de Burgh and Egidia de Lacy; his maternal grandparents were Sir John Fitz Geoffrey and Isabella Bigod. He was an only child. He died at the age of 59 in 1324 in Gnosall, Stafford, Eng.-
