John was born on November 23rd, 1306 in Pleshy Castle, Essex, Eng. John 's father was Sir Humphrey de Bohun and his mother was Elizabeth Plantagenet. His paternal grandparents were Humphrey VII de Bohun and Maud de Fienes. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Humphrey, Lord Edward, William, Margaret, Margaret Agnes, Lady Alianor, Aeneas Agnes and Princes Isabella.
