Edith's father was Robert d'Oilly and her mother was Edith FitzForne.  Her paternal grandparents were Nigel d'Oilly and Agnes UNKNOWN; her maternal grandfather was Forne FitzSiguld.  She was an only child.

She had a biological son named Thomas.
