Capt John Whipple 
Capt John was born about 1617 in England. Capt John's father was Matthew Whipple and his mother was Joanna Fuller. His paternal grandfather was Matthew Whipple. He had a brother and six sisters, named Matthew, Anne, Margaret, Joanna, Elizabeth, Mary and Amy. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died on May 16th, 1685 in Providence, RI.
They had nine sons and four daughters, named John, Benjamin, Samuel, Eleazer, William, Benjamin, David, Joseph, Jonathan, Abigail, Sarah, Mary and Abigail.

Sarah was born on February 28th, 1642 in Pawtucket, RI. She died at the age of 39 on July 23rd, 1681 in Dorchester, MA.
