Rev Nathaniel Ward 
Rev Nathaniel was born in 1578 in Haverhill, England. Rev Nathaniel's father was Rev John Ward and his mother was Elizabeth Unknown. He was an only child. He died at the age of 74 in 1652 in Ipswich, Esex Co, MA.General Notes
In 1634, he turned from Law to Puritan ministry. 1641, Chief Compiler of the Body of Liberties, the highest Code of Law in New England. Educated at Cambridge, England. Immigrated to MA in 1634. Returned to England in 1646. Author 1647, in London. Wrote "The Simple Cobbler of Aggawam".
They had a son named Rev John.
