John Strong 
John was born in 1605 in Chard, Somerset, Eng. John's father was Richard Stronge and his mother was Eleanor Deane. His paternal grandparents were George Stronge and Elizabeth Unknown; his maternal grandparents were Walter Deane and Johanna Walseley. He was an only child. He died at the age of 94 on April 14th, 1699 in Northampton, MA.General Notes
Came to America in 1630 on the ship 'Mary and John', as a youth with his younger sister. He went back to England to marry, and arrived the 2nd time on the ship 'Hopewell', in 1635.
