Candace Squires

Candace was born in 1807 in Dorset, Bennington, VT. Candace's father was Salmon Ward Squires and her mother was Anna Blackmer Wells. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Squires and Content Ward. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Isaac Amos, Zenas, Rev Salmon Ward, William Orrin, Olive and Mary Ann. She was the second oldest of the seven children.
