Otis Orlando's father was William Perlin Squire and his mother was Jane Philera Sturdevant. His paternal grandparents were John Squire and Chloe Lincoln. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Harvey Almon, Harvey Lorenzo, William Almon, William Lorenzo, John Carlton, Alonzo Ladrue, Rebecca Evaline, Mary Arodyne, Chloe Emeline and Jennie Grace Enelle.-
