Orin Datus was born on August 27th, 1783 in Durham, CT. Orin Datus' father was David Squire and his mother was Huldah Bishop. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Squire and Abigail Unknown. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Phineas, David, Thaddeus, Bishop, Medad, Asa, Tryphena, Millesant, Rosana and Huldah. He was the youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 76 on October 4th, 1859 in Branford, CT.-
