Hugh H. Shaw 
Hugh H. was born on November 25th, 1799 in Guilford Co, NC. Hugh H.'s father was Hugh Shaw and his mother was Elizabeth Finley. His paternal grandparents were Patrick Shaw and Nancy Ashley; his maternal grandparents were John Finley and Elizabeth Paisley. He had two brothers and a sister, named David C., Thomas Calhoun and Ann. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 48 on January 13th, 1848.-
