King Henry  II "Planyagenet"'s father was Geoffrey  V "Le Bon" Plantagenet and his mother was Empress Matilda of Germany.  His paternal grandparents were Foulques  V "le Jeuns" UNKNOWN and Ermengarde Du Maine; his maternal grandparents were King Henry  I "Beauclerc" of England and Matilda "atheling" UNKNOWN.  He was an only child.

They had a son named King John  (Lackland).
