Richard  I "Couer de Lion" was born in 1157 in Oxford, Eng.  Richard  I "Couer de Lion"'s father was King Henry  II UNKNOWN and his mother was Eleanor of Aquitaine.  His paternal grandparents were Geoffrey  V Plantagenet and Matilda UNKNOWN. He had a brother named John "Lackland".  He was the older of the two children. He had a half-brother named William.
