Margaret was born about 1868 in Flensburg, Germany (formerly Denmark). Margaret's father was Hinrich Peter Paulsen and her mother was Anna Pouline Andersen. Her paternal grandparents were Otto Peter Paulsen and Maria Christina Bohn ; her maternal grandparents were Anders Poulsen and Ane Nielsdatter. She had two brothers named Henry and Theodore. She was the second oldest of the three children. She died in Modesto, Stanislaus, CA.General Notes
Parents were Danes who were trapped in Germany after a war transfered the area to Germany. They escaped by coming to America with their children, who had been born in what was then Germany.
