Margaret E, (Peggy) was born in 1832. Margaret E, (Peggy)'s father was Isaac Palmer and her mother was Mary Reville. Her paternal grandparents were Nathaniel Palmer and Hannah White. She had five brothers and three sisters, named James M., Freeman S., John L., Benjamin Franklin, Thomas I., Martha Ann, Alethea and Nancy Maxine. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
