Martha Mendenhall 
Martha was born in 1719 in East Caln, Chester Co, PA. Martha's father was John Mendenhall and her mother was Susanna Pierson. Her paternal grandparents were John Mendenhall and Elizabeth Maris; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Pierson and Rose Dixon. She had five brothers and two sisters, named James, Mordecai, John, Stephen, Moses, Mary and Sarah. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children.-
