Margaret was born in 1455. Margaret's father was Randle Mainwaring and her mother was Margaret Davenport. Her paternal grandparents were Randle Mainwaring and Margaret Savage; her maternal grandparents were Hugh Davenport and Ellen Massey. She was an only child.
