Queen Thyra Haraldsdotter

Queen Thyra was born about 0947 in Denmark.  Queen Thyra's father was Harald  II Blaatand Gormsson and her mother was Gunhild Olafsdotter.  Her maternal grandparents were King Olaf Bjornsson and Ingeborg Thrandsdotter. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Herfastus, Svein Tjugeskagg, Duchess Gunnora and Aveline.  She was the second youngest of the five children.
