Ivar Halfdansson 
Ivar was born in 0788 in Maer, Norway. Ivar's father was Halfdan II Oysteinsson and his mother was Hlif Dagsdotter. His paternal grandparents were Oystein I Halfdansson and Hild Eriksdotter; his maternal grandfather was Dag av Vestmare. He was an only child. He died at the age of 82 in 0870.
They had a son named Oystein.
