Joseph French 
Joseph was born on October 14th, 1753 in Checter, Burlington, NJ. Joseph's father was Robert French and his mother was Hannah Cattel. His paternal grandparents were Thomas French and Mary Allen; his maternal grandparents were Jonas Cattell and Mary Pearce. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Keziah, Mary and Hannah. He was the second youngest of the five children.-
