Richard Duty 
Richard was born about 1748 in Tennessee. Richard's father was Matthew Duty and his mother was Catherine Amy Ballard ***. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Duty *** and Ann Mary Littleton. He was an only child. He died in 1795 in Granville Co, NC.
They had six sons and five daughters, named Richard, Jabez, Samuel, Benjamin, George, Thomas, Rachel, Elizabeth, Sarah, Ann and Lucinda.
