Gilbert Darell

Gilbert was born in 1145 in Wheldrake, York, Eng.  Gilbert's father was Sir Thomas Darell.  His paternal grandfather was Geoffrey Darell. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Sir Duncan, Geoffrey, Marmaduke, Ralph, Robert, Emma, Helewise, Alia and Muriel.  He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.  Gilbert is no longer alive.
