John Crittenden 
John was born in 1636 in Hawkhurst, Kent, Eng. John's father was Abraham Crittenden and his mother was Mary Hinkson. His paternal grandparents were Abraham Crittenden and Elizabeth Roberts. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Abraham, Isaac, Thomas, Mary, Thomas, Hannah, Deborah and Elizabeth. He was the second oldest of the nine children.
