Robert was born in 1179 in Caus Castle, Shropshire, Eng. Robert's father was Baron Robert Corbet. His paternal grandfather was Baron Simon Corbet. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Baron Thomas, Hugh, Alan, William, Thomas, Hawise, Felis and Margaret. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. Robert is no longer alive.-
