Jane was born in 1445 in Moreton Corbet, Shropshire, Eng. Jane's father was Sir Roger Corbet and her mother was Elizabeth Hopton. Her paternal grandparents were Robert III Esquire Corbet and Margaret Mallory; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Hopton and Eleanor Lucy. She had a brother and a sister, named Richard and Ann. She was the second oldest of the three children.-
