Sir Anthony was born in 1505 in Giddy Hall, Romford, Essex, Eng. Sir Anthony's father was John Cooke and his mother was Alice Saunders. His paternal grandparents were John Cooke and Elizabeth Belnap; his maternal grandparents were William Saunders and Jane Spencer. He had two sisters named Beatrix and Catherine. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 71 on June 11th, 1576.-
