John Cooke

John was born about March 1607 in Leiden, Holland.  John's father was Francis Cooke and his mother was Hester Walloon Mahieu.  His paternal grandparents were Richard Cooke and Alice Caunton; his maternal grandparents were Jacque Mahieu and Jennie Unknown. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Josiah, Jacob, Henry, Josiah, Jane, Hester, Elizabeth, Mercy Mary and Mary.  He was the oldest of the ten children.  He died on November 9th, 1694.
