John Benton

John was born on June 10th, 1643 in Guilford, New Haven, CT.  John's father was Edward Benton and his mother was Anna Unknown.  His paternal grandparents were John Benton and Mary Southernwood. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Edward, Daniel, Andrew, Zacheus, Hannah, Mary, Tabitha, Elizabeth and Sarah.  He was the fifth youngest of the ten children.
