John Bentley 
John was born on November 5th, 1608 in Elstow, Bedford, Eng. John's father was William Bentley and his mother was Mary Goodwin. His paternal grandfather was Captain James Bentley; his maternal grandparents were Francis Goodwin and Joan Lynes ***. He had a brother and four sisters, named Thomas, Margaret (Mary), Elizabeth, Rose and Emma. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 57 on March 26th, 1666.-
