Samuel Abbey

Samuel was born on March 27th, 1796.  Samuel's father was Amasa Abbey and his mother was Huldah Pettingale.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Abbey and Deliverance Armstrong. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Daniel, Joseph, Ora, Amasa, Alpheus, Hepzibah, Clarissa, Mariam, Laura, Sally, Naomi and Sarah.  He was the second oldest of the thirteen children.
