‌Isaac and Cynthia Elender were married in a religious ceremony on January 14th, 1840.  They had three sons and four daughters, named James K Polk, William Cass, Jacob Pierce, Nancy Caroline, Mary Susannah, Elizabeth Frances and Georgia Tennessee.
