Ralph de Somery 
Ralph was born about 1158 in England. Ralph's father was John de Somery, Baron of Dudley and his mother was Hawise Paynell (Paganell). He was an only child. He died in 1220 in Dudley,Staffordshire,England.General Notes
"A History of Newport Pagnell" by Frederick William Bull, Kettering 1900, contains the following information:
"Ralph, the son of John and Hawyse, succeeded, and in 6th Richard I [the reign of Richard I] accounted 300 marks for liveryof the Barony of Gervase Paganel, his mothers brother, until the Kings return from Almaine and in the same year, on the collection of the ransom of Richard I., paid fifty pounds for the fees of Gervase Paganel."
They had a son named Roger.
