Robert was born in 1425 in Farleigh,England. Robert's father was Robert Hungerford and his mother was Margaret Botreaux. His paternal grandparents were Walter Hungerford and Catherine Peverell; his maternal grandparents were William De Botreaux and Elizabeth Beaumont. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Walter, Amolph, William, Mary, Philippa and Catherine. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 39 on May 18th, 1464 in New Castle,Northumberland,England.-
