Margery was born in 1306 in Badlesmere, Kent, England.  Margery's father was Bartholomew DE BADLESMERE and her mother was Margaret DE CLARE.  Her paternal grandparents were Gunceline DE BADLESMERE , Justice of Chester and Joan FITZBERNARD; her maternal grandparents were Thomas DE CLARE , Lord of Thomond and Julian FITZMAURICE. She had a brother and three sisters, named Giles, Maud, Elizabeth and Margaret.  She was the oldest of the five children. She had a half-brother named Robert.  She died at the age of 57 on October 18th, 1363 in Helmsley, North Riding, Yorkshire, England.
