Her paternal grandparents were Alfonso II Provence and Gersenda II Sabran; her maternal grandparents were Tomasso Savoy and Marguirete Geneva. She had a sister named Margaret. She was the older of the two children. She died at the age of 43 on September 23rd, 1267 in Nocera.-
