Aveline was born in 1081 in Hesding, Picardy, France. Aveline's father was Ernulf Hesding and her mother was Beatrice Montdidier. Her paternal grandparents were Ernult Hesdin and UNKNOWN Emmalina; her maternal grandparents were Hildouin III Montdidier and Alice Roucy. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Rautrou and Julienne. She died at the age of 45 in 1126.-
