Theobold was born in 1223 in Norfolk, Eng.. Theobold's father was Theobald II Botelier and his mother was Joan Marais. His paternal grandparents were Fulk III Fitzwarren and Maud Vavasour; his maternal grandfather was Geoffrey Marais. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named John and Maud. He died at the age of 62 on December 26th, 1285.-
