Richard Bassett 
Richard was born in 1102 in Dryton, Staffordshire, emg. Richard's father was Ralph Bassett and his mother was Alice Brusse. His paternal grandfather was Therston Bassett; his maternal grandparents were Robert Brusse and UNKNOWN Arloia. He had two brothers and a sister, named Gilbert, Therston and Joan. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 42 in 1144. He was buried in White ship.-
