Charles was born in 0676. Charles' father was Pepin II Austrasia and his mother was UNKNOWN Alpaide. His paternal grandparents were Ansegei Austrasia and Saint Beggue Landen; his maternal grandparents were Hogobert Bavaria and Regintrude Austraisa. He had two brothers named Breux and Childebrand. He was the second oldest of the three children.-
