Wayne Edward was born on July 6th, 1925 in Lawrence Co., Indiana. Wayne Edward's father was Sidney Meadows and his mother was Effie Shields. His maternal grandparents were Luther Edward Shields and Lillie I. Eads. He had three sisters named Bernice Louise, Violet Mable and Hazel Angas. He was the second oldest of the four children.-
