Samuel McClure 
Samuel was born on November 27th, 1799 in Rock Springs, near Cynthiana, Ky. Samuel's father was William McClure and his mother was Phoebe Eads. His maternal grandparents were Henry Eads and Sarah Elizabeth Sailors. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named William, James E., Lewis Deweese, David, Gibson, Henry, Jonathan, Mary, Elizabeth, Lucinda and Jane. He was the oldest of the twelve children.-
